Why do I have to come?

Hi I'm Toren (8 years old), me and my family are going on a sailing voyage for one or more years. Everyone in my family is excited about going, but me. I think that I shouldn't have to come sailing because.....................................................................................................

1. It sounds boring!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and no fun because all we get to do is sit around and be told to move out of the way and stuff like that. No one is paying attention to me.

2. My mom said that when we get back all the girls will like me.  I don't want to have a girlfriend when I'm only 12 or 13 years old. I don't even like watching people kissing in movies.
3. I will miss all my friends while I'm gone. I'm not even going to see them much even on iPads or when they visit.  My friends are Jack, David, Will, Graham, Will, Connor, Hank, and Larson. I can just walk over to their house's and play whenever I want.  Except for when I'm on the boat.

I still think that I shouldn't have to come.  If I didn't have to come on the voyage I would play with my friends and do everything that I would normally do.  I would stay with my grandmother, "Gege" if they left me here all by myself.
