DESCRIPTION

2005 Garcia Passoa 46 “Sargo”

 Rugged bare aluminum blue water cruiser fully outfitted for long-term voyaging.

 Built in 2005 by the well-known Garcia yard, Sargo is a strong, safe offshore sailboat. Her centerboard configuration allows for access to shallow anchorages, good upwind performance, and stability in downwind conditions where she excels.

Sargo’s versatile sail plan allows for consistent passage making speeds with a solent rig, three reefs in the main, a screecher on a bottom-up furler off the bowsprit, and a full symmetrical spinnaker flown from a traditional pole. The standing rigging is rod and was recently replaced. Main, Jib, and Genoa are all Hydranet from Zoom Sails and less than two years old.

Below decks, Sargo is light and spacious with a large main salon that also contains the forward-facing nav station and beautiful galley. The owner’s cabin is forward with a desk area and storage.  Joining the forward cabin to the salon is a pantry/food prep area with large fridge and freezer. Aft there is a double cabin to starboard and a workshop/small bunk to port. The head is large with a separate shower stall.
